Sport Options

​UDA offers opportunity through its connections for those students who wish to participate in sport the opportunity to do so. UDA runs its own professional academy soccer program (link Here) and in addition has placed even graduate students into top level basketball and women's soccer programs at UK universities it partners with. UDA offers multiple pathways for students either in the UK or in the USA, that can match a student's academic and soccer aspirations.

COACH IN RESIDENCE & ​VISITING COACH PROGRAM

UDA has established a "coach in residence" and "visiting coach" program where students will be coached by UEFA “A”, USSF “A" and USC Premier licensed coaches from across the professional game in the UK and collegiate and professional game in the USA.

YEAR ROUND TRAINING AND PLAYING

The UDA-US academy mirrors the top European academies for player development - the schedule of games to training ratio is designed for optimal player development.

The focus is on true player development during the critical years of 18-21 rather than the number of wins in a season.

FULLY INTEGRATED UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE

UDA recognizes the importance of a fully integrated University experience across academic, soccer, social and cultural platforms. ​

UDA employs a Student Support Officer to make sure all players are connected at all levels to be fully engaged in the life of the University for optimal achievement in the classroom and on the field.
